Date: 2021-10-11 06:59 pm (UTC)Oh, I totally agree! I think he had a crush and like you said, wanted something of her's. IT probably would've actively put him off to know Dean gave it to her, and it was a shame Lorelai immediately jumped to the worst conclusions when she found him returning it.
I am intrigued by your fic about Jess and Paris becoming step siblings! I will definitely check that out soon.
