Pauley Shore is not the most popular guy ever and its kind of a mistake to tell people you like his movies, or so I'm told. I don't care, I love these two movies! lol

California Man (known as Encino Man in the States) stars Pauley Shore, Sean Astin, and a young Brendan Fraser in his first major role. Fraser is a caveman that the two BFFs dig up out of the back yard and thaw out of a block of ice. They clean him up, dress him up, and enrol him in High School as if he were an exchange student. Sounds crazy? It is completely nuts, and yet also hilarious and sometimes even sweet - I love it!

Son-in-Law has Pauley Shore as an RA at a college who befriends straght-laced farm girl Becca (Carla Gugino) and turns her into somewhat of a wild child. When she takes the infamous Crawl home to the farm for Thanksgiving, all hell breaks lose and its crazy laughs all the way, even as Becca and Crawl fall for each other in the weirdest possible way!

These are movies to laugh out loud to, on a day when only stupid will do. Thats why I love them.

These are the two Pauley Shore movies that I like the most. You're right that these are laugh out loud movies and to watch them on a day when that's exactly what you want!

Do you want to actually know when I don't know the movies? I tell you anyway, lol. Haven't seen any of these and I doubt I will in the near future. But that's mainly because I have little time and would prefer to see others first ;).
