[100 Things] My DVD Collection: Legally Blonde & Miss Congeniality

Sisters are doing it for themselves, thats the best way I can some up these two movies. Sure, Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) from Legally Blonde and Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) probably wouldn't get along in a month of Sundays, but both are strong women that are going to get where they want to go regardless of what anybody else says or thinks.

Does the head of an overly-girly Sorority, dressed always in pink, and squealing about her hair seem like lawyer material? No. Does a tough girl FBI agent with an attitude and a one-of-the-boys mentality seem like Beauty Queen material to you? Again, no. And yet, they both give it their best shot and make it in the end.

Plus, along the way, both girls learn a lot about themselves, and they get the man of their dreams that they didn't even know they wanted or needed.

These are feel good movies with heart and fun, and women with attitude and class. I love them!

Once again we both have great taste! Love both of these movies. Plus the sequels to these weren't too bad either.

I have to admit, I'm not crazy about the sequels. Legally Blone 2 was okay, pretty funny at times, but I'm not so much into Miss Congeniality 2 - it really didn't live up to my expectations at all.

Guess what? Seen both of them (more than once) and love both of them!!! I think I might have Legally Blonde on DVD...Didn't like either of the sequels though ;).
