Yes, I am aware we are nowhere near Christmas, but I have good Christmas dvds that deserve a mention in this thing! lol
The first version of Dicken's A Christmas Carol I ever saw was the Muppet version. Yes, I am aware that is all kinds of wrong, but I was a kid and as a general rule ghosts scared me back then!
It was only recently I saw other versions of the tale, and last Christmas purchased the one starring Patrick Stewart. I know he's an awesome actor, but I hadn't seen him in much til this - overall, I enjoyed the movie, both the drama and the comedy in equal measure.
Still, I have to admit, when its Christmas time and I'm trying my best to be festive and jolly, its waaaay more easy to do with The Muppet Christmas Carol - seriously, the songs are just great, and Michael Caine is a legend in his own right.
If thats wrong - I don't care! ;)
