Okay, so when I first got into the whole internet fandom thing, I had just started watching Smallville. I wanted to join a couple of forums but needed a screen-name. Things like Lana and Chloe and Supergirl were already taken, so I went back to the days when I used to watch Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman for inspiration. I loved that show as a kid, I still kinda do now actually, and my favourite episode was the one where Lois becomes a superhero - Ultrawoman. So my screename was Ultrawoman, and some people shortened it to UW, but most started calling me Ultra. Anywhere you see an Ultrawoman, Ultrawoman1, or Ultra that's into the same fandoms as me, that writes fic and/or makes art and vids, it probably IS me! lol When I signed up for Livejournal, these names were gone. Since I originally signed up to post fic, I went with ultra_fic for my journal name, and that's that. My tagline 'fic and other stuff by Ultra' covers the content of my LJ quite succinctly, I think, but is vague enough to make people wonder and take a look. What is this other stuff of whish I speak, huh? ;) lol I don't know if other people find it weird that I go by a name that's not really a name, but I've been called it for 10 years now, and it feels like it is my name, online anyway :)
