Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why

I kinda gave up on a couple of ships... Buffy/Spike (BtVS), for example. I think I just exhausted all my ideas for it, and she REALLY started to bug me later on. So yeah, that one, and I have up on the Smallville fandom, but in my head, I still like to think Chloe/Lex ended up together somewhere, somehow... lol
